Mum and Dad have another day off with me today! Easter is so much fun......:
They seem to be eating an awful lot of chocolate and keep telling me it's NOT for doggies as it would make me poorly, I'm wondering if they are telling me that because they don't want to share! I can't complain really as I always get a treat in the morning after I have sat nicely to have my teeth brushed. My teeth are lovely and white (so they keep telling me) so I best keep up with the good work!
We are meeting my friends, Bailey & Beau today for a walk. Their human is a dog walker too so I get to see them every week when my mum and Debby meet up on their walks. Debby always has really nice treats so I love seeing her. Well I suppose I should get going as it looks like we are heading out on our walk now. Enjoy the rest of the Easter holiday and don't forget to keep those Easter eggs away from us doggies......sausages will be great fully received instead!
Mum says she loves my white fluffy coat. It's great because I don't lose my fur like some of my doggy friends. When one of my friends comes to stay my mum is always hoovering up as the fur gets everywhere! Don't get me started on the Hoover, it sends me mental and I can't stop barking at it, don't know why, I just do! Apparently my fur is like Velcro (what ever that is!) as everything sticks to me. In particular that sticky willow stuff! I just so happened to manage to get covered in it today, total nightmare as mum has to pick it out of me! When I get wet it takes longer to dry me than it does for my mum to get ready for a night out (and that's a very long time!). Mum likes to brush me all the time otherwise I get matted which is definitely no fun........So you see, being this cute really does take time & effort! Reilly xx
Me and my doggy friends went over to Broughton Astley this morning for our walk. It was rather warm but it didn't stop play! It is Rogers birthday today so he seemed really pleased to be out playing with us all. Roger, Dora and Dudley went in to something very muddy, my Mum must have known they would and that's why she put the towels in! Lottie found a very big stick and didn't want to share it with us although Dora and Roger had a good go at trying to steel it. We are always a lot calmer after our walk in the open fields, I sometimes fall to sleep in the van. Once Mum had dropped of my friends we went to see Tioma, she is getting on a bit now but loves her daily visit from my Mum who feeds and walks her and gives her lots of cuddles. I was very lucky today as I went on another walk in Glen Parva in the afternoon with Rory, Primrose and Chaka. We get to walk through fields, woods and even along the canal. Chaka always jumps in the canal to cool off and then sprays water all over us! Primrose loves walking by my mums side but every now and again she will have a burst of energy and run around. Rory runs around all the time, he's only tiny but I am sure he thinks he is a Great Dane! I'm now snoozing on the sofa before my dinner, I hope they are cooking me chicken again as that's my favourite! I wonder what tomorrow will bring.......Reilly xx
I love my lazy lie in. It's 8.00am and my Mums alarm goes off, I'm taking up most of the bed but as I am so cute I seem to get away with it! If they are getting up I suppose I should! It's a lovely sunny day which is great as I'm not keen on rainy walks. Mum is busy getting herself sorted for taking me out with my other doggy friends, making sure there is fresh water in the van and nice clean towels just in case one of us roles in something less fresh! I'm going on mums first walk today with Roger, Dora, Dudley and Lottie and Tracy is joining us to help out as we do sometimes mess about on our walk and cause trouble! But hey that's just part of being a dog........isn't it? If I'm lucyk I will get to go on her 2nd walk, but if not my dad's at home so I get to stay with him instead. Anyway it's nearly time to leave and start picking up my friends so I will be back later to tell you more about my day. Reilly xx
It's a good job my dogs are not fair weather doggies on a day like today........it sure is going to be a wet one! Oh well we're not made of sugar!
Enjoy "Wet Wednesday" folks x
Reilly and I are getting very excited as I have finally decided on the design for my van graphics. With the help from my very talented husband the design work is now complete and ready to go to print. Look out for me driving around your way soon and don't forget to wave! Photo's will follow shortly............
Well I am nearly at the end of my holiday in Newquay and boy what fun it's been! I have slept on a campsite in a van, played with lots of doggies, been fussed by everyone who I've come across, ran along the beach and dipped my toes in the sea (not sure I like getting completely wet.......it does nothing for my blonde furry coat!). Mum & Dad have worn me out everyday and I have enjoyed every minute!
We are leaving for home tomorrow as Mum said Life of Reilly wont run its self!
Happy Holidays Friends.
Love Reilly xx
Loving my brand new Joules Wellies! I can't wait to wear them..............not that I am hoping for rain!
CONGRATULATIONS Crumpet.............Reilly picked you out of the bag and you have won 1 week of dog walking with Life of Reilly Dog Care. We will be in touch with your owner to arrange for you to have "The Life of Reilly".
Thank you to everyone for sharing your photos with us of your adorable pooches and better luck next time.
Prince was such star yesterday, he was adored by everyone who saw him and most importantly by the judge at the Crick Dog Show who awarded him 2nd place for best rescue dog. I am sure that his owners will be proud as punch when they get home and they see his medal.
